β¦ Synopsis
Using a simple extension of Shiba's formula for the de Haas-van Alphen-oscillations, the influence of scattering by magnetic impurities is studied. Already for a classical spin model one obtains a minimum in the dHvA amplitudes as function of the magnetic-field, which is influenced by normal scattering. The change of this behavior for the Anderson model is studied within the Non-Crossing-Approximation, and raises questions for a comparison between experiment and theory.

## Abstract In this study the influence of topic involvement on mailβsurvey response rate and speed was experimentally investigated. The results show that response rates for topics that are generally considered as high involvement were higher than for topics that are generally considered as low inv
This paper deals with the effect of rainfall on the process of wind erosion of beach sands and presents results from both field and wind tunnel experiments. Although sediment transport by splash is of secondary importance on coastal dunes, splashsaltation processes can move sediments in conditions w
