β¦ Synopsis
Abstract
A laboratory mixed suspension mixed product removal (MSMPR) crystallizer was operated with and without continuous fines segregation and destruction. Predicted improvements in productβcrystal size were observed. By carefully representing the crystallizer flow pattern, quantitative agreement of crystal size distribution with prediction was achieved.

## Abstract The influence of polyethyleneimine (PEI) addition on the crystal size distribution (CSD) of Au was investigated. PEI is a waterβsoluble cationic polyelectrolyte acting as a reducer of AuCl~4~^β^ and a stabilizer of precipitated Au nanocrystals. The CSD can be controlled by the PEI dosag
## Abstract The purpose of this study was to investigate the influence of seed crystal size on the rate of nucleation in batch stirredβtank crystallizers. Experimental results confirm the existence of such an effect. Nucleation rate data are correlated with a secondβorder polynomial in seed crystal
## Abstract The influence of modulated crucible rotation on the axial distribution of Cu, Mg and Si impurities in proustite single crystals grown by the Stockbarger method using ACRT is studied in a wide range of Taylor numbers (1.9Β·10^5^ < __Ta__ < 7.12Β·10^7^). The impurity content in the upper pa
