✦ Synopsis

The Helmholtz free energy of formation of a spherical microcluster in a ftite system is computed using different reelations for the curvature dependence of the surface tenson. Comparison between computer simulation results of Rao et aL and macroscopic thermodynanucs shows relalve close agreement.
