✦ Synopsis

Polarographic (dc and UC), chronopotentiometric and cyclic voltammetric studies have been carried out to study the reduction of Cd'+, In"+ and Tl+ and several other cations from Ca(NO& .4H,O at 60°C. The diffusion coefficients from different techniques are compared. Br-and tbiourea additions lead to complexes of variable strength depending both on the metal ions and ligands. The overall and stepwise stability constants have been evaluated from polarographic parameters by computer analysis.
