✦ Synopsis

Infinite-dilution activity coefficients of three (propanone + an (n)-alkane) mixtures were measured by a gas-stripping method in the (298.15 \mathrm{~K}) to (318.15 \mathrm{~K}) temperature region. The pre-saturation technique proposed by Doležal and co-workers was employed to make the measurements accurately. The observed temperature dependence of the experimental values was found to be reasonable. The results were also used to predict the whole range of (vapour + liquid) equilibria.
