Vacuum News in the non-vacuum field, electrical component manufacturers are showing considerable interest in electrostatic coating. This new powder technology, mainly developed in the U.S.A., is being applied to coaters for both wire and motor irons; coating and curing equipment is now available as a package installation from General Engineering.
General Engineering Co. (Radcliffe) Ltd, Bury Road, Radcliffe, Manchester, UK Leybold-Heraeus Ltd, U.K. subsidiary of the West German parent company, in announcing the acquisition, said that Inficon had previously negotiated a non-exclusive licence to sell their monitors and controllers in U.K. before this recent move.
Leybold-Heraeus Ltd will now take over the pre-and post-sales service for new and existing equipment in the U.K.
