Additional counterweights are provided for operation with a 90ft. boom. Using the 30-ft. boom and outriggers, the unit can lift 10 tons at a 20-ft. operating radius. It has a 25,000-1b. drawbar pull. The prototype crane, currently undergoing tests, was built by LeTourneau-Westinghouse Company, Peoria, Ill., trader contract with the Laboratories. The superstructure was manufactured by American Hoist and Derrick Company.
