โฆ Synopsis
Inelastic neutron scattering (INS) spectra (0 ~ 650 cm -1) have been obtained of C2H2 and C2D2 adsorbed onto dehydrated fully silver-exchanged Linde type A (AgI2-A) zeolite. Low frequency intramolecular modes of perdeuteroacetylene were observed and assigned, as were several of the vibrations of the adsorbed gas relative to the surface. From our assignments we conclude that C2H2 and C2D2 adsorbed onto Ag12-A zeolite are non-linear.
