Methyl methacrylate monomer of very high grade was recovered from an industrial dump of hard solid poly(methy1 met hacrylate). The recovered monomer was bulk polymerized t o obtain a liquid polymer. The liquid poly(methy1 methacrylate) was found adequate for reinjection into the industry as a topcoat in synthetic marble production.
