## Abstract Results of this study indicate a radioprotective effect of peroxiredoxin‐I. Peroxiredoxin‐I is an antioxidant that scavenges hydroperoxides, whereas reactive oxygen species are the main mediators of ionizing radiation toxicity. We hypothesized that peroxiredoxin‐I might be induced by ce
