✦ Synopsis

It is examined how the adsorption of labelled Ca 2c ions can be used as a tool for the indirect radiotracer study of the adsorption of organic acids. The inductive effect of SOOH group is clearly demonstrated in the case of maleic acid. Phenomena observed in the presence of oxalic, citric and cinnamic acids are presented and discussed.
