A predominantly semiconducting single-walled carbon nanotube-based thin conductive film was fabricated on a flexible poly(ethylene terephthalate) substrate. The structural features of the nanotubes and careful experimental scrutinization consistently yielded the films with very low surface resistanc

β¦ Synopsis
A simple process was developed for increasing the semiconducting component of singlewalled carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs) with narrowed diameter distribution through directly eliminating metallic SWCNTs and semiconducting SWCNTs (s-SWCNTs) with smaller diameters in transparent conducting films of SWCNTs. The process is based on the oxidation with diazonium reagents and air. The transparent films of s-SWCNTs obtained had high-purity and retained the original structure. The possible mechanism of the process is discussed.

## Abstract Transparent and electrically conducting films were fabricated using a novel and simple method in which singleβwalled carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs) adsorbed onto bacterial cellulose membranes were embedded into a transparent polymer resin. The bacterial cellulose membranes consisting of nume
## Abstract It is demonstrated that an optically transparent and electrically conductive polyethylene oxide (PEO) film is fabricated by the introduction of individualized singleβwalled carbon nanotubes (SWNTs). The incorporated SWNTs in the PEO film sustain their intrinsic electronic and optical pr
A comparative study was made of sorted semi-conducting single walled carbon nanotube (SWCNT) films and unsorted SWCNT films for gas sensing applications. The transmission line method is used to monitor separately the SWCNTs film resistance and the contact resistance between electrodes and the SWCNTs
