## Abstract A method is described for isolating intact, individual skeletal muscle fibers from glutaraldehyde fixed muscle. This method was conceived to eliminate the many limitations of determining muscle nuclear numbers in histological cross section. Glutaraldehyde fixed fibers are isolated by di
