โฆ Synopsis
Complete cure of thermosets in the mould may necessitate a long period of time, and is therefore costly. On the other hand, the temperature throughout the thermoset sample is rather high at the time of its extraction from the mould. The process of cure can be described by numerical models, not only when the thermoset is heated in the mould but also when it is extracted from the mould and allowed to cool in the surrounding. The increase in the state of cure is determined for rather thin sheets of therrnosets, when the thermosets are cooled in motionless air, at various temperatures ranging from 20 to 120 ยฐ. The result may be of interest, and the process is quite inexpensive.
