✦ Synopsis

Methods are developed for incorporating the Polanyi theory of adsorption equilibrium into liquid-phase multicomponent adsorption calculations. Examples are presented that illustrate the use of the methods developed for calculating adsorption equilibria, the dynamics of batch adsorption, and the dynamics of fixed-bed adsorption. The results of these uses are compared with experimental data.
