✦ Synopsis

The inclusion of HVDC links in power system stochastic load flow analysis is described. A quite general 13-stage HVDC link model is chosen and four HVDC link control specifications are used to completely specify the stochastic load flow. Tests show that the resulting 'long.term' uncertainties depend on the type of HVDC link chosen. Inclusion of correlation data in the tests reduces the 'longterm" uncertainty of the results.
