Young Freddy Thugstinβs father is murdered. His mother is implicated in his death and sentenced to an asylum for the criminally insane. By the age of twelve Freddy lives the βhard knock lifeβ in the rough streets of Chicagoβs Southside.
As fate would have it, by the age of sixteen, Freddy finds himself entangled in a vicious web of mayhem and murder. With the help of his girlfriend, the feisty Sasha Thomas, they manage to stay one step ahead of the cops, as Freddy relentlessly searches for answers with limited clues.
In his search for the truth, Freddy stumbles upon fraudulent documents and a cache of valuable heirloom diamonds that belong to Senator Bob Williams, a powerful politician and a hopeful presidential candidate, running for election. Things take a dramatic turn for the worse when the desperate Senator hires a Mafia hit man to kill Freddy and retrieve the documents and the precious jewels.
With time running out and the election nearing, frantically, Freddy and Sasha run for their livesβ¦right into a trap! They soon discover the real culprits responsible for his fatherβs murder and itβs the last person Freddy would ever imagine. This is the first book of Freddy Thugstin's dramatic saga.
