✦ Synopsis

The iron complex 1/1 H was formed cleanly upon treatment of CpFe(2-trimethylsilylethoxybenzene) hexa¯uorophosphate with tetrabutyl ammonium ¯uoride. Reaction with a number of electrophiles led to good yields of the O-substituted arenes.
