✦ Synopsis

Improving operations at the Beijing Olympics

The recent Beijing Olympics presented many challenges to its contractors and suppliers. Aiming to provide solutions for operations concerning wastewater, water and air, Grundfos supplied its latest pump and dosing technologies, and services to some of the Chinese city' s most demanding Olympic venues.

Estimated to have cost close to Β£20 billion, the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing was impressive not only in terms of the records set on the track and in the pool, but also for the many architectural achievements, such as the 'Bird's Nest' and the 'Water Cube' . These structures have quickly become such an integral part of the Beijing landscape.
