## Abstract Using magic angle spinning ^19^F NMR, it has been possible to identify gaseous chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) and hydrochlorofluorocarbon (HCFC) blowing agents trapped in the cells of test samples of polyurethane foam. On spinning the samples at rates greater than 10 kHz, further signals have
