Cryogenic refrigeration system installed on superconducting rotor has the merit that it can eliminate cryogen transfer between rapidly revolving rotor and stationary part and, therefore, the loss generated by it. Nevertheless, such an on-board cryogenic refrigeration system has not been realized yet
