✦ Synopsis


We study inelastic electron-ion scattering contributions to the thermoelectronic transport coefficients in dense plasmas. They are deduced from improved variational solutions of the Boltzmann-Ziman equation explained in this work. A new expression for the thermopower is proposed which is evaluated in the case of the dense hydrogen plasma.
