The ultrathin polymer films that were composed of biodegradable and naturally occurring chitosan and poly(␥-benzylglutamate) were stably deposited onto a quartz crystal microbalance (QCM) by alternate immersion of a QCM from their aqueous solutions in the presence of water-soluble organic solvents as a USS soluble solvent.
