✦ Synopsis
Ah&act-The impregnation of ammine aqua cobalt(W) complexes on r]-A&O, was investigated by NIR FT-Raman spectroscopy and in a few cases by UV-vis spectroscopy and X-ray powder diffraction. The cobalt(II1) impregnated alumina samples were prepared from different precursors using different impregnation methods. The observed Raman bands for the impregnated alumina around 522-537 cm-' were tentatively assigned to the vibrational modes for the Co-OAl or Co-O(H)AI bonds (Al = aluminium atom on AI,OJ surface).
