✦ Synopsis
The National Federation of Industrial Health Organizations has offered training courses for medical staff belonging to Occupational Health Organizations to overcome the difficulty of carrying out periodic eye-checkups for VDT workers in Japan since 1991. Through detailed evaluation by participants, the course contents have been improved. Today the participants in the courses number 643, thus contributing to the improved medical examinations for VDT operators.
