distance of the separation of the shorting post and the feeding probe. WHen using high-permittivity materials, the gain is very low, and the radiation pattern of the meandering patch antenna is not very good. In this paper, a new kind of small microstrip antenna is proposed. From the study of an H
In this work, a hybrid approach for the synthesis of lossy transmission-line impedance-matching sections is presented. The hybrid algorithm is based on a genetic algorithm and controlled random search algorithm. The hybrid algorithm gi¨es better design than the genetic algorithm.
An iterati¨e method for the design of tapered transmission lines is described. The method applies the Fourier transform to a ( ) linearized Riccati equation to yield a spectral function Q k which relates to a frequency spectrum with a corresponding characteristic impedance profile. Numerical results
