β¦ Synopsis
The impedance of the interface mercury/electrolyte-solution has been measured for NaClO,, NaNOs, Na, SO~, NaCl and NaI solutions when the interface is exposed to gamma rays. In all cases radiation led to a decrease in the differential capacitance, most probably through the formation of films of stable radiolysis products.
