## Abstract This paper examines the impacts of climate variability upon the regional hydrological regimes of the Yellow River in China. Results indicate that the average annual precipitation is 494ยท8 mm in La Niรฑa years and only 408ยท8 mm in El Niรฑo years. The difference is 86ยท0 mm, or 18ยท8% over th

The climate sensitive analysis of potential climate change on streamflow has been conducted using a hydrologic model to identify hydrologic variability associated with climate scenarios as a function of perturbed climatic variables (e.g. carbon dioxide, temperature, and precipitation).
