## Abstract Delay ripples of chirped‐fiber Bragg grating (CFBG), which can compensate 200‐km‐long fiber's dispersion, is detailedly analyzed. A numerical simulation of the delay ripple of cascaded gratings is done using SchrΓΆdinger's equation and is compared with an experiment using a 1000‐km trans
