## Abstract Human papillomavirus (HPV)βinduced carcinogenesis is critically dependent on the activities of the viral __E6__ and __E7__ oncogenes. Here, we demonstrate that expression of the putative tumor suppressor gene __Bβcell translocation geneβ2__ (__BTG2__) is reinduced in HPV16β and HPV18βpo
