β¦ Synopsis
Megakaryocyte potentiator derived from mouse bone marrow has been shown to be immunologically similar to . In this study the activity has been characterised by biochemical and immunochernical techniques. The activity is described as a 0-linked glycosylated molecule with an apparent MW of 15 Kd and pl of the range p H 5.9-6.35. The data show that mouse bone marrow potentiator activity is a variant of IL-6 and with the potential to enhance megakaryocyte growth. o 1995 ~i l e y -~i s \ , Inc
