In order to develop more efficient labelling agents for the binding assays based on time-resolved electrogenerated chemiluminescence, thirteen derivatives of (l-hydroxybenzene-2,6-diyl)bis(methylenenit~lo~etrakis(a~tic acid) were synthesized. The aim was to study the influence of different substitue

Time-resolved luminescence spectra of chinese tea solution were measured at 300 K. The results show single exponential decay with 5 ns decay time for luminescence bands of 763 nm and 713 nm. The value of the decay time is almost the same as that for chlorophyll and other organic dye molecules.
