A simple semiquantitative slide test to assess the phagocytic activity of periphera polymorphonuclear leukocytes is described. Leukocytes are isolated from one drop of blood and latex particles are offered for phagocytosis. Cellular capacities and serum opsonins can be assessed separately. In the pr
