✦ Synopsis
The components surrounding the coil are made so that they should not have any significant influence on the parameters of the tank circuit (i.e. the distance from the ends and sides of the coil to the components is not less than its diameter and radius, respectively).
To change the specimen the coaxial line is taken out of the cryostat when tt is not cold, which is a disadvantage. A slight alteration to the upper part of the cryostat will make it possible to change the specimen when the cryostat is cold.
The cryostat can be filled easily with liquid helium and evaporates 1 1. in 6-8 hr of working, which is quite long enough for photographing the spectrum on the oscillograph screen or for recording it.
