Dieselbe Verbindung wurde auch durch Reduction des von W a1 t h e r erhaltenen Phenylmethylisonitrosoiminopyrazolons') gewomen.

Dieses 4,5-Diamin gab mit salpetriger Saure ein Azin, mit Phenanthrenchinon ein Phenanthrazin, dagegen mit Essigsaureanhydrid keine den Imidazolen entsprechende Verbindung, sondern ein Diacetylderivat. Es verhalt sich also Lhnlich, wie die Diamine der aliphatischen Reihe.

The title compound 3 was obtained during the rearrangement of isoxazol-5-yl hydrazine 1 to 1 -aminopyrazolone 2 at \(115^{\circ}\). X-ray analysis of the corresponding benzylidene derivative allowed us to achieve the structure assignment.
