✦ Synopsis

Reports on practical experience on use of computers by UK Property Services Agency designers. A survey showed that despite overall benefits only about 20% of designers trained to use computers subsequently used the programs in their day-to-day work. Reasons for this are given and changes suggested to make the programs more attractive and increase their usage.
