✦ Synopsis
Current techniques are described and demonstrated for the isolation and structural elucidation of sesquiterpene hydrocarbons, on the basis of enantioselective capillary gas chromatography, with cyclodextrin derivatives as chiral stationary phases and chemical microreactions for correlation of unknown sesquiterpenes with compounds of known constitution and absolute con®guration.
