✦ Synopsis

Abstract

The changes in mouse serum protein distribution after administration of lentinan, an antitumor polysaccharide, were examined using micro two‐dimensional electrophoresis in the absence of denaturing agents. Three protein spots were markedly increased in level and two of them were identified to be haptoglobin and haptoglobin partially bound with hemoglobin. Activity staining of haptoglobin after complex formation with hemoglobin and of ceruloplasmin were demonstrated.
