Polysomal poly (A)+ RNA and total cellular RNA were isolated from the brains of C57BL/6J (B6), DBA/2J (D2), and F1 hybrid mice. Both types of RNA were isolated at 9, 12, 16, 21, and 30 days of age. By using a 32P-labelled cDNA probe for myelin basic protein (MBP; pMBP-1) the amounts of RNA coding fo
