✦ Synopsis
We have identified the doubly-magic N = 2 nucleus loo% by using the method of highenergy projectile fragmentation of a lz4Xe beam in connection with the fragment separator FRS at GSI. Despite a very low production cross section of only 11 f 4 pb, we report on first results from the investigation of correlated P-decays after the implantation of a total of seven nuclei into a segmented stack of silicon detectors. We will discuss future perspectives of a more precise determination of the GT-hindrance factor for the unique looSn P-decay using the same method.
