Sir,-I am writing this letter to discuss the administration ofl,25-di-hydrocholecalciferol to children with rickets which was observed radiologically in one and biochemically only in the other of two very interesting patients of Dr. Taitz et al. [11. The first patient was started on 1,25di-hydroxycholecalciferol (calcitriol), 0,25 gg a day, with questionable elevation of her blood calcium in 8 days.
