โฆ Synopsis
Hyperfine magnetic structure and low temperature thermal-expansion of alloy Fe-30.4Ni-1.5C comparing to binary Fe-30.6Ni and Fe-36.0Ni ones have been studied by means of Mossbauer spectroscopy. It was found that unlike the well known invar Fe-36.0Ni alloy the embedding of C to Fe-30.6Ni ones improves the invar and mechanical properties. The properties of ternary alloy were found to be depend on homogenization temperatures 800-1470K. The positive effect of C is explained to be caused by the influence on the atomic and magnetic ordering in alloys.
