✦ Synopsis
The hyperfine-mduced mixing of high vibrational rotational levels (U > 125) of the Cs, X 'El ground state with levels of the a3X:
state has been discovered using Doppler-free double-resonance polarization spectroscopy.
The observed spectral patterns can be explained by ungerade-gerade symmetry breaking induced by scalar indtrect nuclear-spin-nuclear-spin mteraction. which can be descrtbed by second-order perturbation theory.
