✦ Synopsis
Necessary conditions to create hyperchaos in a dynamical system are discussed. Three exampies exhibiting hyperchaos in electronic circuits with only one active element are described. The first is the modified Matsumoto-Chua-Kobayashi oscillator and the two others are the fourth order oscillators with either parallel-or combined parallel-series resonance loops.

Most real-life structural/mechanical systems have complex geometrical and material properties and operate under complex fuzzy environmental conditions. These systems are certainly subjected to fuzzy random excitations induced by the environment. For an analytical treatment of such a system subjected
A novel thermomechanical model of frictional self-excited stick-slip vibrations is proposed. A mechanical system consisting of two masses which are coupled by an elastic spring and moving vertically between two walls is considered. It is assumed that between masses and walls a Coulomb friction occur
