✦ Synopsis


DC and microwave properties of granular superconducting bridges made of YBCO thin films have been investigated experimentally. The resistance of a microbridge increased step-wise at increasing bias. Microwave radiation, with a bandwidth of 300 MHz, has been observed with maximum amplitudes at certain dc-biases. The dc and rf properties may be explained within a model with coherent motion of hyper-vortices that are larger than grain sizes.
