## Abstract Tm^3+^‐doped Y~2~O~3~ nanocrystals were prepared via hydrothermal conditions at high autogenous pressure (ca. 40 MPa) using batch reactors at 220 and 250 Β°C for very short periods of reaction time (10 min). The as‐prepared materials were identified as Y(OH)~3~ nanoparticles. The precurs
