β¦ Synopsis
The crystal structure and luminescent property of hydrothermally grown crystals of [NaEu(H 2 O)(SO 4 ) 2 ] (1) are reported. The crystal structure is composed of three kinds of right-handed helical chains, {EuOSO 4 }, {NaOSO 4 } and {EuONa}, which are connected together to form a three-dimensional framework structure via corner-shared polyhedra. The sharp peaks in the emission spectrum of 1 are assigned and analyzed.

The new compound SrAI2(PO4)2F z has been synthesised by a hydrothermal method (700Β°C, 195 MPa, 24 h). The structure was determinated by X-ray diffraction on single crystal. SrAI2(PO4)2F 2 crystallises in the non-centrosyrnmetric space group P21212 J (NΒ°I9) with a = 12.026(1) A, b = 12.199(1) A, c =
