Three new members of the copper/carboxylato/heterocyclic diimine family, namely [Cu(GLYO)(2,2Π-bipy)] 2 β’ nH 2 O (n Ο 4 (1) or 6 (2), H 2 GLYO Ο glycolic acid, 2,2Π-bipy Ο 2,2Π-bipyridine) and {[Cu(AcO) 2 (4,4Π-bipy)] β’ 3H 2 O} n (3) (AcO Ο acetato, 4,4Πbipy Ο 4,4-bipyridine), have been synthesized
