Hydrogenolyse, IV') Decarboxylierung von Carbonsauren in der Gasphase

Ein neues einfaches Verfahren zur Decarboxylierung nicht aktivierter Carbonsauren ist die heterogene Gasphasen-Katalyse unter Normaldruck mit Wasserstoff als Reaktionsmedium. Nickel-Katalysatoren decarboxylieren tertiare aliphatische, aromatische und araliphatische Carbonsauren bei 180 "C, wahrend Palladium-Katalysatoren bei 330°C zur Decarboxylierung von primaren und sekundaren aliphatischen sowie aromatischen Carbonsauren geeigneter sind.

Selbst Phthalsaureanhydrid wird mit Palladium-Katalysatoren vollstandig defunktionalisiert .
